We wrote a little bit about ourselves and then did an activity to get to know the other people in the class and introduce them to the rest of the class. Finally, we talked about the course and this website. You can check all the relevant information about it on the powerpoint presentation on the homepage.

25th September

​

We  corrected the homework:  Photocopy of grammar revision.  Then we played a game in which we had to find different people in class that did different things from a list and talked to them. Then we talked about it. Later we reflected a bit upon our English learning. In pairs, we completed a questionnaire about language learning and talked about some tips to improve our way to learn English. Finally, we watched a video about how to improve our spoken English and pronunciation (you can watch it again on the homepage/blog section). We completed some sentences about it and talked about these tips.

Homework: Vocabulary Bank: Personality (p. 153 from the textbook).

27th September

​

First we did an activity in pairs in which we had to answer some questions about us and then we had to guess the questions using the right auxiliaries. Then we corrected the Vocabulary Bank: Personality (p. 153 from the textbook) paying attention to the pronunciation. We did 1 Vocabulary and Speaking 1B on p. 8: we talked about the pictures and did ex. a, b, c and d.

Homework: Writing: a description of a person: ex. a, b, c and d (p. 113) but do not write anything yet.
